Vincent Chew

Loh Chye Teik
Partner, Assurance
•A Chartered Accountant with the MIA
•Fellow member of the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia.
•Graduate with a Bachelor (Honours) of Accounting degree from the University of Malaya.
•Former Managing Partner of Parker Randall Loh, and his own accounting/auditing firm known as Tan & Loh, Chartered Accountants. He has extensive experience in audit, corporate strategy, business development, financial and tax planning, spanning from multi-national companies, manufacturing companies, property development, construction and trading companies
•Former Councillor and Audit Committee member of the Municipal Council of Pulau Pinang (“MPPP”).
•Acted as Director for few public listed companies.

Brian Wong
Partner, Assurance and Business Risks

•PKF International Governance Risk & Compliance group executive committee member
•Director of a technology based company listed on Bursa Malaysia Securities and director and audit committee chairman of a specialist steel engineering company listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange.
•Head of Corporate Affairs with a public listed company for 4 years, and actively involved in a wide array of corporate, legal, financial, tax, internal audit, IT, operations and administration.
•Attached with KPMG Peat Marwick in 1994, with involvement in statutory and non-statutory audits, due diligences, and specialized advisory.

David Chuah
Partner, Assurance
•A fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and a Chartered Accountant with MIA.
•Began his career with Arthur Andersen where he was involved in the audit and corporate exercises of major public-listed companies, and consulting works with Andersen Consulting.
•Carries with him commercial experience having acted as Financial Controller for GE Engine Services Malaysia, and CFO of a furniture manufacturer corporation listed on Bursa Malaysia.
•His practice career has involved him as head of an audit unit in Horwath, where he acted as team lead on assurance related assignments of public listed companies and large SMEs covering a wide range of industries, initial public offering exercises, technical and training matters and other special assignments.
•Has been called on to conduct seminars on accounting standards for external clients as well as internal trainings on audit methodology and accounting standards.
•A member of the ACCA FRS Committee and has co-written a book on Private Entity Reporting Standards in Malaysia.

Sharinah Datuk Hj MD Iqbal

•Obtained her initial training with PricewaterhouseCoopers and has been involved in lecturing in accounting and auditing subjects in various colleges
•Her audit experiences includes wide range of companies engaged in oil and gas, gaming, power generation, plantation, information technology, telecommunication, construction, manufacturing, logistics, retail trading and services
•Graduated with Bachelor degree in Science majoring in Accounting and Finance from the University of London.
•Currently pursuing her Masters in Forensic Accounting and Financial Criminology with University Teknologi Mara.

Chau Man Kit

•With KPMG and Horwath previously, has more than 20 years of practice experience involving audit, tax planning, company secretarial and management consultancy assignments for various clients from a wide array of industries which include plantation, property development, manufacturing, construction, transportation and logistic, timber and various services
•Has also acted as auditor for several government related agencies in East Malaysia and undertaken various special assignments, include corporate exercise involving floatation of shares, bonus and right issue for public listed company review of profit and cash flow forecasts, due diligent and other review assignments
•Acted as an expert witness and undertaken assessment of damages by the High Court of Malaya, Sabah, in relation to a claim of damages approximately RM90 million.

Ramli Mohamed

•Chartered Accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales, the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants, a Fellow of CPA Australia and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered and Certified Practising Accountants, and a Fellow of the Malaysian Institute of Taxation.
•Over 35 years of vast professional exposure through attachments with Delloite Touche Tomatsu, Arthur Young (predecessor to Ernst & Young) and various other accounting practices in the United Kingdom, New Zealand and Malaysia.
•Auditor of various government and government-linked corporations and agencies and non-profit organizations in addition to commercial enterprises.
•Currently a divisional Council Member of CPA Malaysia, and has previously held positions as Council Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, and member of the EXCO of the Malay Chamber of Commerce Malaysia and Malaysian Chamber of Islamic Business.
•Graduated with a Bachelors of Business (majoring in Accounting and Computer Science) from the Southern Queensland University Australia and holds an MBA from Leicester University UK.

Manharlal Bhaichand Gathani

Dawin Tang
Partner, Recovery & Corporate Finance
•A qualified advocate and solicitor, having practised law with Messrs Skrine before joining BDO Capital Consultants Sdn Bhd (BDOCC), the corporate finance and insolvency division of BDO Binder.
•Extensive experience in legal and corporate finance and insolvency advisory assignments with clients, which include multi-national corporations, public listed and owner-managed corporations in banking, trading, manufacturing, plantations, construction and property development.
•Involved in numerous corporate advisory assignments in Thailand and Vietnam, in collaboration with BDO International's member firms in these countries.
•Australian graduate with a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Accounting & Finance) and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Australia.

Marilyn Ngu

•Has gained significant practice experience in her previous attachment with Horwath and commercial exposure as an accountant with a public listed company in Malaysia.
•Has undertaken various audit assignments including audit and reporting work for public listed companies and small and medium sized entities, from various industries such as manufacturing, trading, construction, logistic, timber and other service industries.
•Graduated with Master of Arts in Political Economy (Social Science) from University of Glasgow (UK).

Lau Chin Chin

•Chartered Accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Accountant and member of CTIM and CPA Australia.
•Over 13 years of working experience in audit, tax compliance, tax advisory /planning and has experienced in assisting clients in various tax audit and investigation as well as tax appeal in Special Commissioners.
•Previously attached with PricewaterhouseCoopers specializing in tax defense and dispute resolution and tax advisory jobs.
•Australian graduate with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Southern Queensland.
